Eating Your Thoughts For Your Body's Health

If your every thought about food over a year manifested into calories will you be thin or fat, healthy or unhealthy, happy or sad?  Most of us, cannot answer the question honestly. This is because for the most part we have become, thoughtless mindless eaters. Slaves to our tongues and the gimmicks of clever advertising,often we find ourselves with little control over our relationship to our food and our health. And yet this does not need to be the case. A small dose of thought injected into our eating experience can bring astonishing rewards. Mindfulness is no longer a mystical concept. Numerous books, websites and dedicated apps promote the practice as a potential antidote to many modern-day ailments. Mindful eating is not a diet, or about giving up anything at all. It's about experiencing food more intensely — especially the pleasure of it. You can eat a  carrot, a cheeseburger or a cookie mindfully, if you wish. You might enjoy it a lot more.
