Give It A Try!

Whenever I encourage my friends to try new foods or a new organic super food they get wary. They give suspicious looks to the uncommon shape of herbs, the sensational smells of the spices make them sneeze, and they won't even try the supplements!

As much as I love trying new things (with proper research of course) I realize most people aren't as adventurous as me. But I think if a little more knowledge were shed on the subject maybe people's minds would start to change. Here is an amazing article I found on 9 Detox Herbs That Will Make You Feel Like A Million Bucks and I was happy to discover eSutras Organics carries a few of the products! Try these amazing, detoxifying products and FEEL the results!

Turmeric - The health of our digestive system affects our immune system. The mucus membrane of the gut, a part of the lymph system is compromised by digestive imbalances. These imbalances which can be caused by toxins, diet choices, stress and lifestyle manifest either as constipation or diarrhea depending on whether the imbalances are drying or creating congestion. Seasonal factors can add to the imbalances. These imbalances interfere with our immune functioning. Turmeric is an herb that helps with this.

Beets and Fenugreek thin the bile. When there is congestion in the mucus membranes of the intestine, toxins do not get processed by the intestines. Instead they back up to the liver which thickens the bile which in turn creates congestion in the bile and pancreatic ducts. The result is that fats cannot be digested, fat soluble toxins cannot be processed and digestive enzymes are not as available to do their job. This compromises both the immune system and digestion. Beets and fenugreek support the body’s bile as natural supplements or as part of a meal.

Neem is a wonder herb from the neem tree. It is most commonly known as an herb for the skin and dental health. However, it is also antibacterial,
anti-viral, antiseptic, anti-diabetic, and blood purifying, and has many other practical uses.

Mother Earth, Mother Nature, We the Children & Easter

Did you know the first Greek God was actually a Goddess?. he is Gaia, or Mother Earth, who created herself out of primordial chaos. From her fertile womb all life sprang, and unto Mother Earth all living things must return after their allotted span of life is over.  Gaia, as Mother Nature, personifies the entire ecosystem of Planet Earth.  Mother Nature is always working to achieve and maintain harmony, wholeness and balance within the environment. Mother Nature heals, nurtures and supports all life on this planet, and ultimately all life and health depend on Her. In time, Nature heals all ills. The way of Mother Gaia is the passive, feminine, Yin way of healing. All we need to do to regain our health is to return to the bosom of Mother Nature and live in accordance with Her laws. The Gaia archetype underlies all notions of the Nature Cure. Mother Nature is a healing goddess for the ancients whose glory was celebrated each spring, long before organized religion came into...
