Clean and Green! Only with eSutras!

Everyone has that favorite piece of clothing they can't live without. You'd wear it everyday if you could! And when you use the detergents and cleansers lining the aisles of the supermarket today: colors begin to fade almost immediately, using too much irritates your skin because of the harmful chemicals in them, or god forbid bleach accidentally spills and your favorite shirt is ruined forever! Say good bye to all of that when you use eSutras (baby-safe) Soap Nuts Laundry Kit! Our organic kit includes:
  • 4 ounces of organic soap nuts, which contains an organic compound known as saponin. It acts naturally as a detergent that effectively cleans the most delicate material & the toughest stains.
  • 2 muslin bags with ties, our bags contain to artificial dyes, so no worries about colors bleeding onto your clothes.
  • 1 floral dryer companion pack.
How to wash: Place 2 or 3 whole soap nuts into one of the muslin bags, tie tightly, and just drop into the washing machine.
How to dry: Place the floral companion pack into the second included muslin bag, tie tightly, and place in the dryer as an alternative to dryer sheets.
Some Helpful tips:
  • For heavily soiled loads, use hot water and gently crack the soap nut shells to release extra saponin.
  • Soap nuts can be re-used up to 4 times! After washing, let the nuts dry to save for another use.
  • When all the saponin from the soap nut shell is used up, the shell will remain soggy after drying and have a grayish color. This is when you'll know to toss them!
For use as a Natural Laundry Detergent, you can use them in another way:
  • Boil 12-15 whole Soap Nuts in 6 cups (1.5 quart) of water for 30 minutes. The liquid you have is now a concentrated, chemical free detergent. The leftover shells can be placed in your compost. Use 3 Tbsp or 45 ml of this.
Now you can have fresh, clean laundry without all the chemicals!

Mother Earth, Mother Nature, We the Children & Easter

Did you know the first Greek God was actually a Goddess?. he is Gaia, or Mother Earth, who created herself out of primordial chaos. From her fertile womb all life sprang, and unto Mother Earth all living things must return after their allotted span of life is over.  Gaia, as Mother Nature, personifies the entire ecosystem of Planet Earth.  Mother Nature is always working to achieve and maintain harmony, wholeness and balance within the environment. Mother Nature heals, nurtures and supports all life on this planet, and ultimately all life and health depend on Her. In time, Nature heals all ills. The way of Mother Gaia is the passive, feminine, Yin way of healing. All we need to do to regain our health is to return to the bosom of Mother Nature and live in accordance with Her laws. The Gaia archetype underlies all notions of the Nature Cure. Mother Nature is a healing goddess for the ancients whose glory was celebrated each spring, long before organized religion came into...
