Bala Root - " Bala" literally mean "youth" in sanskit which is why it's no surprise this root is usually used for maintaining youth. It belongs to the cotton family Malvaceae and has properties that have been proven to be rejuvenating to your nervous, circulatory, and urinary systems. We recommend you use the dry herb as a tea. To make a strong tea, use 1/4 oz of dried root / cup of water. Boil the dry herb in the water to reduce the water by half.

Ashwagandha Root Ashwagandha has been popularly applied to those with overworked and often hyper-tense lives. Ashwagandha is considered India's Ginseng and is usually applied in Ayurvedic medicine to treat hypertension and stress related ailments. However Ashwagandha should not be consumed for long periods of time and is better reserved for the "times of need". The roots of ashwagandha is used in  the classical Indian system of medicine, and  where its categorized as a rasayana, used to promote physical and mental health, to provide defense against disease and to slow the aging process. In studies it has been shown to have anti-anxiety properties and is considered a mood enhancing herb.

Calamus Root -   A bitter tasting root which stimulates appetite and digestion and is a nerve sedative. A semi-aquatic plant that is usual found growing in central plain state in America or in India, although the Indian version of the plants contains higher levels of essential oils. This herb can be used to make teas that aid  colds, colic pain,  and coughs.  It is also considered an effective antihistamine; clearing stuffy sinuses and helping  dispel mucous.

These roots are simply amazing. Containing so many properties of healing without the processed phamacutical company's chemicals. Many ancient civilizations were right to use them and it's great how they can still be useful today!
Although these roots have proven properties, it is un-wise to take them without accredited medical expertise and permission.
